Interstate 56 is at the Tye River which has a long swinging bridge. It is after you have descended the Priest mountain (lucky you don't have to climb up it!) Also, before the Priest, you don't wnat to miss Spy Rock! (A great lookout just a few feet off the trail.) Our Club owns a primitive stone cabin (sleeps 12) 4 miles S. of Reed's Gap, and I can still hike into there, usually with all my family, including grandkids who love the hiking. Have not been on this thing for at least a month as I have been sewing curtains for Pat. Had yesterday to get the house in order as I had thread everywhere. Hope to follow your adventure when I get home and recuperate (and when I get waited on). Have the time of your life. It passes too quickly and you find you are 73.
