  • 2 cup Flour
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • ½ tsp Baking Soda
  • 1½ tsp Baking Powder
  • 3 Tblsp. Butter
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 Egg (Slightly Beaten)
  • Juice of 1 Orange
  • Grated Orange Rind
  • Boiling Water
  • 1 cup Cranberries (Whole)
  • ½ cup Chopped Nuts
  1. Sift dry ingredients together. Place juice of orange in measuring cup, add boiling water to make ¾ cup. Cream butter and sugar, add eggs and orange mixture. Fold into dry ingredients. Add cranberries and nuts.
  2. Place in well greased loaf pan and bake at 325F for 1 hour.
