Orange Chocolate Cheesecake

  • 1¼ cup Vanilla Cookie Crumbs
  • ¼ cup Butter (Melted)
  • 12 oz Semi-Sweet Chocolate
  • ½ cup Orange Juice
  • 16 oz Cream Cheese
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 4 Eggs
  • 2 tsp Vanilla
  • Zest of 1 Orange
  • 1 cup Whipping Cream
  • 1 Tbl Grand Marnier
  1. IN medium bowl combine cookie crumbs and butter. Press into bottom of 10inch springform pan.
  2. Melt chocolate in double boiler or microwave. Add orange juice. Mix well.
  3. In large bowl beat cream cheese until light. Gradually add sugar, beating continually. Add eggs 1 at a time, continuing to beat. Stir in vanilla. Add chocolate-orange juice mixture. Mix well Fold in orange zest. Pour batter into prepared springform pan.
  4. Bake in preheated 325F oven 55 minutes. Turn off oven. Open oven door. Leg cake cool in oven 2 to 3 hours. Top may crack. Before serving, whip cream in small bowl until frothy. Add Grand Marnier. Whip until stiff. Remove sides of springform pan and frost top of cheesecake with whipped cream.
